Bios
Full bio
Dr. Amy Bahl is a physician and integrative health educator whose work sits at the intersection of ancient yogic wisdom and modern medicine. Trained in internal medicine and holding two 200-hour yoga teacher certifications, she grew up in a family where Ayurvedic tradition was simply part of daily life — and spent years in Western medical training learning to question what she couldn't clinically verify. The more she looked, the more she found the science was already there.
After stepping back from clinical practice to be present for her young family, she deepened her study of yoga, Ayurveda, and integrative nutrition — and began writing The Yoga Prescription, a book that brings these two worlds together through five pillars of yogic practice. She shares the science, the stories, and the practical tools at theprescription.co.
